CARVER’S REACH SALES REACH NEW HEIGHTS WITH $6 MILLION IN 12 DAYS

The Carver’s Reach masterplanned community at Park Ridge has exploded into the new year with the latest $6 million stage selling out in 12 days as first home buyers swoop on increasingly rare land.

Carver’s Reach developer Golden Gate Property took the wraps off 26 lots in Stage 4A (Cedar’s Release) of the project on January 16 and was swamped by enquiry and interest.

David Whiteman, Director of Development at Golden Gate Property, said that first home buyers made up the majority of buyers with quality land in the Logan growth corridor increasingly hard to come by.

“The surge in demand experienced since the launch of the HomeBuilder scheme last year has continued to escalate to new heights, but the reality is that many projects in the area simply don’t have any stock to sell,” he said.

“At the moment we are seeing demand far outstrip supply and that is expected for a at least the next few months as any new releases are snapped up in days.”

He said the recent completion of major facilities, including the second stage of the 6ha District Park, had provided buyers with a strong indication of the premium lifestyle on offer at Carver’s Reach.

“From the very beginning, we had a vision for Carver’s Reach,” he said. “We wanted to build a place where families could enjoy everything that Queensland has to offer with plenty of high-quality parks, playgrounds and open space.”

“We are now well and truly on our way to delivering that vision.”

To date the 600-lot Carver’s Reach project has sold more than 195 lots valued at more than $45 million. The first residents have already began moving into the first stage of the project.

Carver’s Reach is being developed by Golden Gate Property with sales and marketing managed by property services group Oliver Hume.

Oliver Hume Queensland Project Director Matt Barr said the highly successful HomeBuilder scheme had created high levels of confidence across the residential land market

“Buyers remain optimistic that prices will rise over the next few years and therefore want to get into the market before this occurs,” he said.

“We are speaking to all of our buyers regularly and are confident we will be able to get the fast majority settled in the next few weeks.” He said. “It is strong sign of confidence in the quality of the project and the Park Ridge market.”

“The feedback received from buyers reflects a desire to have just a little bit more land. We have therefore looked to provide options to have a larger yard and more garden within the lot range. This, when coupled with the premium execution of the estate and parklands, is what has attracted and retained buyers to Carver’s Reach” he said.

The new Cedar Release is located adjacent to one of the major playgrounds, complete with shelter and seating for weekend BBQs and entertaining. A nearby half-court, kids pedal park, and an amenities building are all within reach and yours to enjoy.

There’s also gym and exercise stations, walking trails, as well as an off-leash dog park for active lifestyle lovers.

Carver’s Reach is well located with easy access to the west via Mt Lindesay Highway, east via Chambers Flat Road, and north via the Logan Motorway.

The Park Ridge area, which is inclusive of Boronia Heights, has a forecasted population of 29,987 by 2036 representing an increase of over 20,000 residents since the 2016 census. Increasing the current population by 137% over a 20-year period.
