The Carver’s Reach master-planned community at Park Ridge has achieved a major milestone with settlement commencing today on the first 27 homesites to be sold at the project.

The settlements signal the start of the next stage of activity at the $130 million project with builders and tradies set to descend on the site to start construction on dozens of new homes. 

Less than 12 months after being launched and after more than nine months of construction, the first wave of settlements associated with the first stage of the 600-lot project will be finalised over the coming weeks with all but a few of the initial 67 lots now under contract.

The settlements coincide with a new sales milestone at Carver’s Reach with the release of 23 premium homesites in Stage 2.

Carver’s Reach is being developed by Golden Gate Property with sales and marketing managed by property services group Oliver Hume.

Oliver Hume Queensland Project Director Matt Barr said buyers were keen to complete their purchase and push ahead with construction of their new homes.

Mr Barr said we expected to be slightly impacted by the COVID-19 restrictions but buyers, banks, the local council and the developer all worked cooperatively to streamline the process.

“We are speaking to all of our buyers regularly and are confident we will be able to get the vast majority settled in the next few weeks.” He said. “It is strong sign of confidence in the quality of the project and the Park Ridge market.”

David Whiteman, Director of Development at Golden Gate Property, said the recent completion of major facilities, including roads, parks and entry statements, had provided buyers with a strong indication of the premium lifestyle on offer at Carver’s Reach.

“From the very beginning, we had a vision for Carver’s Reach,” he said. “We wanted to build a place where families could enjoy everything that the Queensland climate has to offer with plenty of high-quality parks, playground and open space.”

“We are only just at the start of delivering on that vision, but it is coming together nicely.” 

“The feedback received from buyers reflects a desire to have just a little bit more land. We have therefore looked to provide options to have a larger yard and more garden within the lot range. This, when coupled with the premium execution of the estate and parklands, is what has attracted and retained buyers to Carver’s Reach” he said.

On completion, Carver’s Reach will include more than six hectares of premium parklands, historic walking trails, a wetland along the bed of Scrubby Creek, replanting of local endangered tree species and a nature reserve surrounding the site

The new Bunya Release is located adjacent to one of the major playgrounds, complete with shelter and seating for weekend BBQs and entertaining. A nearby half-court, kids pedal park, and an amenities building are all within reach and yours to enjoy. 

There are also gym and exercise stations, walking trails, as well as an off-leash dog park for active lifestyle lovers. 

Carver’s Reach is well located with easy access to the west via Mt Lindesay Highway, east via Chambers Flat Road, and north via the Logan Motorway.

The Park Ridge area, which is inclusive of Boronia Heights, has a forecasted population of 29,987 by 2036 representing an increase of over 20,000 residents since the 2016 census. Increasing the current population by 137% over a 20-year period.
