The Carver’s Reach masterplanned community at Park Ridge has unveiled a stunning new release of homesites to help satisfy growing demand for family-sized lots in the Logan growth corridor.

The new release of 23 premium homesites includes lots priced from $204,000 with sizes up to 576 sqm. The Bunya Release, the second at Carver’s Reach, gives buyers the opportunity to be part of a unique, boutique community surrounded by nature.

David Whiteman, Director of Development at Golden Gate Property the developer of Carver’s Reach, said the new release was designed to meet growing demand for homesites offering more flexible housing options.

“The feedback we receive consistently from buyers is their desire to have just a little bit more land providing options to have a larger yard and more garden was important to buyers, with many attracted to Carver’s Reach focus on creating strong links to parklands and nature reserves, he said.

“On completion Carver’s Reach will include more than six hectares of premium parklands, historic walking trails, a wetland along the bed of Scrubby Creek, replanting of local endangered tree species and a nature reserve surrounding the site,” he said.

The new Bunya Release is located adjacent to one of the major playgrounds, complete with shelter and seating for weekend BBQs and entertaining. A nearby half-court, kids pedal park, and an amenities building are all within reach and yours to enjoy.

There’s also gym and exercise stations, walking trails, as well as an off-leash dog park for active lifestyle lovers.

Construction at Carver’s Reach commenced in mid-2019 with first settlements expected from mid-April. The first owners are expected to complete and move into their new homes later this year with nearly 90% of the first 67-lot stage sold.

Jason Grasby and his partner Valerie, who currently live at nearby Heritage Park, will be among the first residents after buying a 512sqm homesite in Stage 1 of Carver’s Reach last year.

“We wanted something that was more than a home for now, but something we could see ourselves still living in comfortably in 10 to 15 years’ time,” Jason said. “It was an important decision and we didn’t want to rush.”

“The first thing that got me was the location,” Jason said. “I know the area well, our son goes to the childcare centre across the road, and I just know how convenient it will be living close to the shops, schools, highway and other infrastructure.”

“Park Ridge has really come a long way in recent years and there are so many things just a few minutes’ drive away.

“The sales office had only been open for a couple of days when I went in and walked straight back out to ring Valerie to tell her – “This is it, this is the place”,” he said.

Jason and Valerie, together with their children Luke 7, and Dominic 3, have chosen to build the Byron 24 home by Oracle Platinum Homes.

Research undertaken by Oliver Hume, whom is running the Sales and Marketing for Carver’s Reach, shows the Logan land market remains one of the best performers in south east Queensland.

Over the last five years the median lot price in Logan has increased 22.4%, including 2.1% over the 12 months to December 2019. The average lot size in the region is 423sqm, with Carver’s Reach achieving an average of 440sqm.

Carver’s Reach is well located with easy access to the west via Mt Lindesay Highway, east via Chambers Flat Road, and north via the Logan Motorway.

The Park Ridge area, which is inclusive of Boronia Heights, has a forecasted population of 29,987 by 2036 representing an increase of over 20,000 residents since the 2016 census. Increasing the current population by 137% over a 20-year period.
